OSTREON Inheritance Tree

OSTREON inheritance tree is a graphical representation of your inheritance, that allows you to see and take all actions from one simple screen. You can find this summarized information on all pages.

“You” Section

In this screen you can see a summary of all of your:

  1. Assets
  2. Beneficiaries
  3. Trusted advisors (people you trust and assign to assets or beneficiary to assist your beneficiary gathering
  4. The ‘Keep Alive’ notification frequency. This frequency has an impact on the timing when your beneficiary will get access to their personal space if something were to happen to you. From the first missed notification, the system will automatically send you a notification daily until you acknowledge it. The number of days you will receive those notifications will be the days you chose for the Priority 1 beneficiary to get access below this box

Your Notary/Lawyer/Wealth Manager Section

In this section, you can add your notary, lawyer, wealth manager, or any professional person who will manage your inheritance for you (not a beneficiary).

In case your inheritance criteria are triggered, your notary/lawyer/wealth manager will be informed that something might happen to you, and that your beneficiaries might contact him/her. Your beneficiaries will receive your notary/lawyer/wealth manager’s contact details as you insert them here.

OSTREON will never share with your notary/lawyer/wealth manager any information or contact details about your beneficiaries. It’s for your beneficiaries to decide if and when to contact your notary/lawyer/wealth manager.

Self Recovery Section

In case you forgot or lost your OSTREON password, we cannot help you reset it. Your data is encrypted with your private key.

You can create an alternative authentication, using information we will provide you by email when time comes, and information that only you know – this is the self-recovery option. It enables you to log in using alternative personal identification and a special link sent to your email if you forget your password.

This acts as an additional security measure, ensuring you can manage your inheritance tree while you`re still alive, even if your password is forgotten, and without compromising your security.

You can decide how many days before your first beneficiary will gain access, you will receive this self-recovery option to log in, change your password, and reset your keep-alive timer.

Priority 1 Beneficiaries

Priority 1 beneficiaries are the first and closest beneficiaries you have. They will be the first to know and get access and see what you have assigned to them.

From this section, you can edit existing beneficiaries or add new ones.

Priority 2 Beneficieris

Priority 2 beneficiaries will get access to assets that are assigned to them only. If some assets are assigned to both Priority 1 and 2 beneficiaries, they will also have access to these assets if Priority 1 beneficiaries did not log in on time.

From this section, you can edit existing beneficiaries or add new ones.

After your inheritance tree has been triggered

In case your inheritance tree has been triggered but you are still alive, you can always log in to your OSTREON account. Here, you will see which of your beneficiaries has gained access to their personal space, and who has actually logged in. As this action requires your attention and awareness, we have highlighted it in red with a big attention icon.

You can revoke their access at any time by simply clicking on the button.
